[Description]

Ilaprazole is an enteric-coated tablet and is white or off-white when the coating is removed.

[Indications]

It is indicated for treatment of duodenal ulcer and reflux esophagitis.

[Strength]

5 mg

[Usage and dosage]

Ilaprazole is used for treatment of adult duodenal ulcer and reflux esophagitis and the drug should be swallowed with water and without chewing in the daily morning in fasting state.

For duodenal ulcer treatment: 5-10 mg once daily for 4 weeks, or use it as directed by your doctor.

For reflux esophagitis treatment: 10 mg once daily for consecutive 4 weeks. It is recommended that an additional 4-week treatment is given to the patients who have not healed from the treatment; and dosage adjustment by using 5 mg of Ilaprazole daily for additional 4 weeks is recommended for the patients who have not healed but have persistent symptoms or use Ilaprazole as directed by the doctor.

[Contraindications]

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

Hypersensitivity to Ilaprazole and other benzimidazoles.
